Brother Khafra Kambon going to court undaunted by false accusations and a heavy police presence. We salute the “Black Power generation” of the Caribbean: those women and men born under colonial rule in the 1930’s and 40s, who demanded more fundamental and revolutionary transformation from Independence through tremendous personal sacrifice with some paying the ultimate price. They have laid an important part of the foundation on which we can build a better future.
